Rethinking Corporate Citizenship: Michael Sabia speaking at breakfast

Michael Sabia, President and CEO of BCE will be the guest speaker on June 10th at a breakfast organized by the Niagara Community Foundation.  The breakfast is the second in a series hosted by the foundation.  The purpose of the event is to raise the level of awareness of the corporate sector in the importance investing and supporting local community organizations.  

Michael Sabia was born and attended school in St. Catharines.  He is the son of the well-known local former politician and national figure Laura Sabia.

The topic of Sabia's speech is Rethinking Corporate Citizenship

Mr. Sabia is also the chairman of the Imagine Program, a national initiative of the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy.  Imagine is Canada's national program to promote public and corporate giving, volunteering and support to the community.  Imagine is the only program in Canada that is specifically geared to encourage and promote partnerships between the corporate and charitable sectors.

The breakfast starts at 8:00am and takes place at the Quality Hotel Parkway Convention Centre on Ontario Street in St. Catharines.  Tickets are $30 per person or $275 for a table of 10 and are available by filling in the attached order form.
