In March of this year, the Niagara Region's population broke through the half a million barrier. As a two-tier municipal system, the impact of this growth is felt at both the regional level and at the local level. Together we are changing, and yet, the needs in each of our municipalities remains unique.
This is why NCF is committed to connecting with, and investing in our local municipalities. As a regional charity we take a localized approach to our grant making, ensuring that the impacts of our grants are felt in every corner of our region. From shore to shore, NCF provides an opportunity for fundholders to keep their donation dollars in their own backyard with local community funds. We do our best to connect and engage with charities in Wainfleet, Grimsby, Thorold, Fort Erie and everywhere in between.
We extend a warm thank you to all levels of government who have partnered with us over the last 25 years, either by establishing a local community fund, connecting us with donors and supporting your local charities. Your partnership has been instrumental in helping us remain both a regional and local charity of choice.
This year marks our 25th anniversary and we renew our commitment to having impact in all 12 municipalities across Niagara.
