David and Louise care deeply for Niagara. Their love for community isn’t flashy or pretentious. They care for Niagara in quiet, yet impactful ways.

As a long-time volunteer with Niagara Community Foundation (NCF), Louise gives of her time to help support the strategic direction of the organization. But it doesn’t end there. Together with David, this Niagara couple have invested in the future of Niagara as fundholders with NCF.

The couple have joined the over 400+ fundholders who have together invested in an endowment fund totaling over $100 million. Collectively, they are making a lasting legacy in Niagara, being a part of a movement that grants $5 million to over 200 charities each year.

On National Philanthropy Day, NCF is proud to partner with people like David and Louise to ensure that our shared love for Niagara extends well beyond the present moment and long into the future.

This year, NCF is proud to be a part of a national campaign to raise awareness about community foundations across the country. "For the Love of Community" is a unified message that speaks to the local impact of community foundations. NCF is one of 200+ community foundations across Canada, a strong and growing movement of philanthropy from coast, to coast, to coast.
